Occasionally we receive messages from fans of the site that are directed to folks other than myself - namely, the artists, writers, and others who make BondoFox Advanced worth visiting. Sometimes I write them back asking permission to post their message on the site itself for everyone to see. If they consent, those messages wind up here. Take a look at what they have to say.

  • I just wanted to say that I am immensely impressed by the organization of your website and the skill shown by many of your contributors, specifically Nathan Cowen (the Firefox series is...amazing) and Dynotaku, whose artwork drew me to Cowen's work in the first place.

Just to help define what sort of fan this respect is coming from, let me explain why I like what I like. The idea of pain (especially when inflicted during, or as part of, intimacy) has always been an incredible turn-off. So, that cuts off much of BondoFox's whipping, spanking, and what-not. The big turn-ON has always been a woman's pleasure...which unfortunately the live-action porn industry is terrible at reproducing. They just suck at acting (and act while sucking, ironically enough).

So that drew me into the manga world. I figured if you're going to go fake, go all the way. As it turns out, pen and paper renders a more convincing pleasure gasp or unrestrainable moan than any live-action actress...and sometimes the stories are actualy interesting (I shall point you toward the Alice in Sexland series if you havn't already read it).

Then I saw some furry artwork and was amazed by the ability of a muzzle and a pair of furry ears to convey emotion better than that of human faces. I'm a big fan of Max Blackrabbit / Eric Schwartz with his Zig-Zag character. Eventually, I found your site, BondoFox.

Firefox drew me in because it didn't make me feel like a fetishist looking for some tail (pun intended). There's so much to it, and indeed it focuses on so MANY fetishes that they just fall into the background and become part of the story. The characters are engaging, dynamic, and well developed; as is the background...wow. If Cowen has any other work (especially if it's based in the same version of Earth...even if it has nothing to do with sex or furries in particular) I would love to read it. I especially liked his concept of VR eventualy becoming indistinguishable from memories. That was very well integrated into the story. My only lingering frustrations are that I wanted a scene with the "tentacle monster/machine" that was briefly alluded to in one of the chapters...just to know how it worked...and I really wanted to read the full narrative of the maze event. Perhaps it's best that he left those things out to keep readers wanting more, but eh. I just loved how technology, genetics, ethics, politics, and some deep psychology were played out so well - and seamlessly developed into something truly original in a genre full of so much unoriginality or just plain freakiness. My hat's off to you, Mr. Cowen.

And to Dynotaku, I send thanks for making artwork that's both amusing and arousing...that's something I always try to look for. His artwork is of unusually high quality. His women have the perfect balance of muscle tone, aren't absurdly skinny or top-heavy, have WONDERFULLY expressive eyes/faces (without looking cliche' or like he's copying some trend), and they have great orgasm faces. I like all of his artwork and hope to see more soon.

My greatest hope is for a Firefox graphic novel. It would make tons of money (or at least some of mine). Dynotaku's character design would be better than perfect...so long as the same amount of attention was paid to the technology, costumes, and backgrounds...and the fact that not every character has fur.

Anyway, thanks for reading this far. Please forward this e-mail to the appropriate parties if at all possible and let me know if there's any other work by Nathan Cowen or Dynotaku that I haven't seen (for instance, if it's under a different name or on a website that's for some reason not posted on BondoFox).

Thanks again. Keep up the good work.

Commentary: The privately-emailed newsletter by blowfish.com (an online adult novelty site) sent out this review of BondoFox to its subscribers. In my opinion it was a fair, unbiased critique, and may or may not require the requisite grain of salt to accept it. I have archived it here for the ages; it's reprinted with their kind permission.
  • In a society with fairly strong standards for "acceptable" sexuality, you have to admire people who have figured out *exactly* what they like, even if it is pretty far outside the mainstream. If the person is able to carry out their fantasies (presuming the participation of consenting adults), terrific. Sadly, there are also people for whom the fantasy is all they'll ever get, at least at our current level of biotechnology.

I'm referring, of course, to "furries" — people who have an erotic attraction to anthropomorphized animals. You've probably heard of them; the type of furry that enjoys dressing up in (and often having sex while wearing) animal costumes has been getting a lot of media attention lately. Like many sexual sub-cultures, there is furious debate over who can be called a "real" furry, and I'm not going to touch that argument; by and large these are folks who aren't attracted to real animals (that's bestiality), aren't into stuffed animals (those are "plushies"), but do get turned on at the sight of an animal with a mostly-human body.

But this is the age of sexual specialization, and there are sub-categories and cross-categories within even the most fringe fetishes. Take Bondofox. This is a site that specializes in illustrations and stories of female cartoon furries in bondage scenarios. If the idea of tying up and dominating a 5' 8" female rabbit with a fur-covered human body and large, gravity-defying breasts gives you wood or makes you slick, head on over.

There are hundreds of drawings/paintings of anthropomorphized animals in bondage gear found in the Gallery section of Bondofox. The vast majority are visibly female, with the plausibility of the body contingent upon the talent of the artist (or, possibly, whether the artist was trying to draw with one hand while the other was busy). The pictures are grouped by artist, and vary quite widely. Some have a strong anime/comic book quality to them, while others look like they were done by a 12-year-old in therapy. There is a small number of drawings of male furries, tossed into a miscellaneous category.

Okay, so I'm not into the whole furry thing myself, but I know that some of you are. And some of the artwork is quite good, at least from an illustration perspective. Whether the site makes you giggle or swoon, you have to applaud the site owner's willingness to embrace desire and explore what turns him on.

I love this — a free work-of-love site that has good quality content of it's own particular specialty. What's the topic? "The main focus will be skunk damsels in distress, but as a good webmaster I will not hold prejudice against lady bunnies, raccoons, felines, or any other species of female anthropomorph." "Furry" females in bondage in both art and stories. Not a single bit of this has anything to do with bestiality, by the way. It is a just a popular genre of art that ... well, see it for yourself. All of the work is submitted by the artists. At last count there were over 50 artist galleries and dozens of stories, and it is all viewer-supported. Give 'em a look and if it's to your taste, give 'em a donation.
